Adult Sports Leagues Giving Residents a
Chance to Relive Their Glory Days

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - For most people playing sports usually ends after high school, but for some in Meridian Township they are still enjoying the spirit of athletic competition.

While the stakes aren't as high as they used to be for these former high school athletes, the adult sports leagues in Meridian Township offer those a chance to get out and enjoy sports at their purest form.

Zachary Skrzyniarz, Player/Manager of Glory Days, explained how and why he started playing recreational kickball nearly six years ago.

"A couple buddies and I had a thought of reliving our glory high school days," said Skrzyniarz. "We had all played varsity sports at our respective high schools and we figured what better way to kick it back to our glory high school days."

Skrzyniarz and his teammates compete in both the Spring and Fall leagues for recreational kickball.

Kickball is just one of the many sports available with sand volleyball, softball, archery, and air pistol available.
