OKEMOS - Great Harvest Bread Co. of Okemos is celebrating their 25th anniversary on Saturday, July 11th. They are having anniversary specials this week from Thursday until Saturday.

The company opened their doors on July 11, 1990, and started off in the building next door to their current location. In their earlier years business kept growing and they moved into the location that they are in now.

The company is owned by the Beck family, and has been for 24 years. The store owners have two daughters that work in the store with them.

Angela Beck, Owner of Harvest Brea Co., said that the store "specializes in whole grain breads, which was new to the area at the time" which refers to the opening in 1990.

The store is located at 1919 W. Grand River Avenue in Okemos, Michigan.
