MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Arts and Crafts Marketplace kicked off its annual Summer season this past Sunday, June 28th.

The event took place in Meridian Township at the Farmers' Market Pavilion and was a big hit with local artists and crafters. The market featured almost everything from paintings to hand-knit caps. Local artist, Steve Adams, was selling his paintings.

"This is my third year coming to this," said Adams. "We keep coming back because everyone is nice, the prices are good, and we just love it here!"

The Meridian Arts and Crafts Marketplace will take place on the fourth Sunday of each month through September. Local artists and crafters are also being encouraged to enter their work into the Heritage Festival at the Meridian Historical Village on September 19th.
