MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The 2015 Pavement Preservation Program lists 14 local roads to be resurfaced in Meridian Township.

The list of roads include: Highgate Avenue, Patriots Way, Bois Isle Drive, Wardcliff Drive, Comanche Drive, Ottawa Drive and so on. In total, nearly 4.7 miles of road shall be repaved.

The Township Board passed the proposal unanimously on May 7th. Trustee John Veenstra says, “I’m sure we have a lot more that needs repaving, but this is all the money we have. This is what we will try to do.”

Other board members also expressed their appreciation of the Township Public Works Department for their devotion to putting limited resources to the most needed places.
