Okemos Sends Four Football Players to
the Next Level

OKEMOS - The Okemos football team went through one of their most resurgent seasons in recent memory.

After a slow start to the season the Chiefs went on a four game run to set themselves for a playoff birth. For a team to make such a huge late season surge there has to be a strong group of leaders within the team. Four of those seniors will be taking their talents to the next level.

Grant Klaver, the senior quarterback is going to take his big arm and experience to become a Mount Union Purple Raider.

Chris Nelson, the senior running back is going to head north to become a Central Michigan Chippewa.

Brad Bez, the senior offensive lineman is heading west to Kalamazoo College.

Kyle Krumm, the senior cornerback is heading northwest to Hope college.
