Creating Safer Sidewalks After Snow Fall

Creating Safer Sidewalks After Snow Fall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - In order to keep Meridian Township residents safe, it is per Township Ordinance to keep your sidewalks clear after a snow fall.

Snow must be removed from sidewalks and public pathways within 24 hours of the last snowfall if more than two inches of snow is accumulated.

If snow is not removed in 24 hours, Township officials will have the snow removed at the property owner's expense.

Removed snow should not be piled anywhere it may obstruct views or pathways.
