MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The holidays are here and there are several places in Meridian Township where you can give back.

Three donation boxes can be found at the Municipal Building Lobby. One is for gently used winter clothing for the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church collection, one is for new, unwrapped gifts for Toys For Tots, and one is for specified gifts for Be A Santa to a Senior.

“Those are three programs that I work with quite a bit over the course of the holidays. They’re fantastic programs and I know that they directly benefit people in the community," said Darla Jackson, the Human Services Specialist in Meridian Township.

Donation sites for these organizations can also be found in various locations around the township including the Okemos Wal-Mart, Schulers in the Meridian Mall and the Haslett Library.
