OKEMOS - The annual Friends’ Membership Tea was held Tuesday, October 7th at the Okemos Library. The event included a variety of different snacks, desserts, tea flavors as well as guest speaker, Emily Fijol.

Emily Fijol, Executive Director of the Michigan Women’s Historical Center and Hall of Fame, explained biographies of women who have made an impact on Michigan and the nation.
