OKEMOS - The Okemos volleyball team faced Holt in their last home game of the season. Prior the game Okemos took a moment to acknowledge the 5 seniors who were playing in front of the home crowd for the last time.
"They are absolutely awesome to be around, so those are the things that we have to cherish and remember; beyond the wins and losses on the court,” Jamie Ianni, Okemos head coach, said.
The game was highly contested. Okemos won the first two matches and dropped the next two matches to Holt; forcing a deciding fifth match to 15. The finale was tied at 14 before Holt earned the final two points and the win.
