OKEMOS - An empty parking lot, building and show time sign is now what's left of what used to be AMC Theatre behind the Meridian Mall in Okemos. There was word that a new owner was considering taking over the AMC Theatre lease and interested in applying for a liquor license. Many believed that would be the kick start the theatre, needed to stay in business. Unfortunately there were some problems obtaining the license.

It is uncertain what will happen in the future for the building.
