EAST LANSING - Michigan State University hosted 16 high schools at the True Team Track and Field Invitational.

Okemos High School took 1st over all in the girl's and claimed the 3rd over all in boy's. Both boy's and girl's stood out in the 400 meter, 1600 meter and the 4x800 relay. The girl's took 1st place in the 60 meter hurdles and the long jump. The Okemos boy's took 1st place in the 4x800.

The Chieftains had a very strong showing and look like they are going to have a solid season.
