MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Capital Area District Library in Haslett is going to makeover their community room.

The library has had this room since they moved in, and the room is supported financially by the Haslett Kiwanis Club.

Renovation will begin in May including wood paneling and cork board.

The library uses this room for weekly activities such as the story time, special events, and for community groups.

The library says the community room was utilized more than 500 times in 2013.
