MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Hawk Island Snow Park in Lansing is providing a venue for winter sports from December to April.

They offer a snow tubing hill and a snow boarding hill. You can either bring your own gear or rent equipment.

" I love it, it's like one of the cool little place I have never been to, there is not very big, but it is not about the size that what we are doing here," said Tyler May, a Trainer at Hawk Island Snow Park.

The park is open from 2pm to 8pm on the weekdays, and 10 am to 8pm on the weekends.
