HOMTV Earns National Recognition

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors(NATOA) has recently announced the nominations for the 2013 awards. Of the sixty-seven categories, Michigan cities had six nominations, with HOMTV claiming three.

HOMTV’s nominations are Election Cover - Ballot Meridian 2012 Township Trustee Debate, Visual Arts - Beyond the Badge Opening Animation, and Social Media - HOMTV Social Media.

“It’s an honor to see our hard work and combined efforts being recognized in multiple categories. We take election coverage very seriously here and are proud to bring our residents the most comprehensive debate coverage possible,” said Communications Director Deborah Guthrie.

Meridian Township will also be recognized among the jurisdictions receiving honorable mention awards for overall excellence in government access programming. The winners will be revealed on September 19th in Orlando, Florida at the Government Programming Awards gala event during NATOA’s Annual Conference.
