MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On August 2nd, 2011 around 4am a house fire occurred at 3750 Beech Tree Ln in Okemos. The Meridian Township Fire Department got there soon after. Because of the size of the fire, the house is unable to be restored. The Fire department hopes that the clean up will be finished tomorrow, however it is still undetermined. The home owner suffered burns and was taken to U of M's burn unit. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Stay tuned for more information on this story!
