UPDATE: OKEMOS - The Okemos Education Foundation recently donated $150,000 to the Okemos Public Schools District.

The Donation is part of the Strategic Fund, a five-year campaign in which the foundation hopes to raise $1 million dollars. Dean Bolton, Chair of the OEF, urges the community to take part in any way that they can.

Bolton describes the community coming together as an aspect of "what makes Okemos special."
