UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Parks Photography Contest is going on now! Amateur photographers, show us pictures of what you believe best captures the image of Meridian Township Parks and Recreation and what it means to you. Take pictures of nature, wildlife, natural environment, active and passive recreation, experiences, or just you and the people you care about having a having a good time. Awards will be given in the junior and adult divisons, and the overall best photo will receive a free sitting and family portrait from Okemos Studio of Photography. The contest runs from now until the February 15, 2013. All photos are to be turned in to the Parks and Recreation Office.
