MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Meridian Township Police officers responded to a report that involved a person being struck with a baseball bat.

According to police, there were three individuals arguing when two of them took baseball bats out of their car and assaulted the third.

The victim fought back and was not seriously injured. Of the two suspects, one was arrested and taken to the Ingham County Jail and the other was taken to the hospital for treatment.
