High Caliber Karting and Entertainment Expansion Project

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI - In September 2019 High Caliber Karting and Entertainment became the newest addition to the Meridian Mall in Okemos. They offer go-karting, arcade games, axe throwing, and are also working on a number of new entertainment experiences for their customers.

Before Governor Gretchen Whitmer's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order was issued, HOMTV had the opportunity to speak with Jordan Munsters, the President and CEO of High Caliber, to talk about the newest renovations and additions.

"We've got some additional entertainment offerings that are coming. Things that allow you to be able to hang out, have more fun with some people, not quite as exhausting as our karts that wear you out because they're so quick," said Munsters. "We're going to be doing 20-25 lanes of something we call Pigskin Pins. It's very similar to what's called Fowling, it was developed on the east side of the state. It involves bowling pins and footballs being thrown back and forth to one another."

In addition to Pigskin Pins, the new space is going to hold a large bar, as well as offer another game called Archery Tag.

Before the shelter in place order was issued, Munsters expected the renovations to be done in August, but due to COVID-19, construction has been pushed back.

The full interview with Jordan Munsters is available to watch on HOMTV's YouTube.
