Meridian Township's 2019 Deer Management Program Begins

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - This week was the start to the 2019 Deer Management Program in Meridian Township.

The program is in its ninth year and will run from October 1st to January 1st on 38 Township owned properties and 83 hunters will participate in this year's program.

HOMTV's Brandie Yates spoke with Park Naturalist and Stewardship Coordinator Kelsey Dillon about the program and why it's important to the Township.
