Meridian Township Millage Rates: Where Does Your Tax Money Go?

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - HOMTV's Brandie Yates sat down with Meridian Township Treasurer Phil Deschaine and Meridian Township Finance Director Miriam Mattison to discuss Township millage rates including what residents see on their current tax bills, where the funds are allocated and a closer look at the two newest proposals on the ballot.

On August 6th, Meridian Township voters will be presented with two proposals - Meridian Towship Redi-Ride Millage Renewal and the Meridian Township Street Improvement Bond Proposal. Treasurer Deschaine explained that both proposals were recommended by the citizens Transportation Commission.
