The Harris Nature Center opened its doors to the public in 1997 and this year the Center is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Harris Nature Center features animal exhibits, interpretive displays, a Nature Exploration Area and Red Cedar River Overlook. Over the years, the Center has enhanced exhibits and nature programs, and added features such as the river overlook deck, fishing dock and canoe launch for visitors to use. HOMTV's Kaitlin Petrillo sits down with Kit Rich, Harris Nature Center Coordinator, and Roxanne Truhn, Vice President of the Harris Nature Center Foundation, to discuss the Center's history and upcoming additions.
