The music of Motown and R&B is back, but this time we pay tribute to the brilliant female voices that brought down the house during that amazing era. Dance and sing-along to classics by legendary groups like the Supremes, Martha & the Vandellas, and the Marvelettes. Originally formed in 2001, the Lansing Symphony Jazz Band presents 17 of Michigan's finest jazz musicians playing selections ranging from the classics of the big band era to the most current and exciting contemporary pieces. 3rd Annual Meridian Township Firefighters and Local Scouts Pancake Breakfast. All you can eat pancakes and sausage for $5 donation. Breakfast will be cooked by the Meridian Township Firefighters and served by local Scouts. All proceeds will go to the MDA and our Local Scout Units' Campership/Scholarship Fund. This fund supports the Scouting units’ efforts to provide scouts the opportunity to attend summer camp where they have fun and learn many skills, including how to work better in groups to plan and to solve problems. Sponsored by: Meridian Township Professional Firefighters Local 1600, HOMTV, Capital Area District Libraries, Milk Means More, Michigan Pork Producers Association, Eby Dental Care and 242 Community Church.
