Just a few friends who like biking
Come join us for the second annual Lansing Bike and Seek! It's a scavenger hunt on bikes around the city. Bring your team, your bike, and get ready to find all ten clues and meet us at the finish location. Cash prizes! $10/team entry fee. Expect to bike around 10 miles. Kids on bikes (and in trailers) welcome!

Join Highfields for a free Community Outreach Event on Sept. 19th! The event is called “Crucial Conversations” and will feature a panel of two of Highfields’ experts: Tim Monroe, Vice President, and Lara Hewson, Director of Quality and Education. The panel will discuss how to talk to kids about what’s going on in the world today. “Crucial Conversations” is free to attend and a continental breakfast will be provided. Lansing Symphony Orchestra
Join the Lansing Symphony alongside the Capital Area District Library, presenting “Lansing Symphony Family Series at the Library,” an interactive series that connects families and young children with music and literature. This series includes four free children’s concerts, each including an LSO performance followed by an activity that incorporates the performance. Have you ever wondered about the trumpet? Learn about this brass instrument and all that it has to offer by LSO Principal Trumpet, Richard Illman.
