MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Township Board approved the final preliminary plan for Silverstone Estates with a decisive 6 to 1 vote at their June 5 meeting.

The plan consists of 25 new lots on 25.5 acres of land just east of Powell road and north of Grand River Avenue. Silverstone Estates will be a single family subdivision with one home being built on each of the 25 lots.

The plan also includes the addition of Silverstone way, a new road providing access to and from Powell Road.

The next step in the process is the approval of the final plan and then Mayberry Homes can begin the construction of the estates.
