Nokomis Learning Center Showcases Beauty and Culture of Indigenous People

OKEMOS - Victoria Voges works as the Scheduling and Educational Coordination/Collections Caretaker and Manager at the Nokomis Learning Center. Voges sees the beauty of the artifacts and art at the center and wants to be a part of holding up that beauty.

The Nokomis Learning Center is a non-profit organization that showcases the past and present culture of the Indigenous people of the Great Lakes area. The center is located in Okemos and features a gallery and museum showing Indigenous art and historical artifacts. The center offers cultural classes including: Anishinabe One and Ojibwe Dialect.
