EAST LANSING - The new Costco expected to be built at the former Four Winds Golf Course at the corner of Park Lake Road and Saginaw Highway is another step closer to breaking ground.

According to Tim Dempsey, Director of Planning, Building and Development for the City of East Lansing, Costco developers will be issued building permits within the next week or two.

Dempsey expects construction will be underway in May, or possibly sooner depending on when the relocation of a natural gas pipeline is complete.
