MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - No matter the weather, TC & Machinery is working away at the new Chick-Fil-A coming to town.

On Grand River Avenue in Meridian Township, directly in front of the Okemos Meijer, residents can see the daily progress of the highly anticipated Southern fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A.

With the foundation of the building set, panels officially bolted, and windows intact it's just a waiting game now for residents. Initially expected to be done in mid-February, TC & Machinery workers believes it may be a little longer.

"These buildings typically take around 6 months to complete, so were looking at a few more months until we're officially done," stated TC & Machinery workers.

Although there is no exact date as of now when the new Chick-Fil-A is set to open, community members are excited to have one coming to the area.
