State of the State: Snyder Says Take
Pride in Michigan Cows

LANSING - Governor Snyder had a special shout out at the State of the State last night--Michigan cows.

In addition to hitting on issues like Flint Water, Opioid abuse, and a crumbling infrastructure, Snyder highlighted the production of Michigan dairy cows.

"When you see those Michigan cows, give them a shout out," said Snyder.

Snyder says that behind Colorado, Michigan produces the most dairy per cow.

The State of the State discussed spending more money on infrastructure, sighting the Fraser sinkhole and crumbling roads as areas for needed improvement.

But as for the cows, Snyder says they're on of 20 agricultural fields Michigan is leading.
