MGTV Programming Moves to Web-Based Format

MGTV Programming Moves to Web-Based
Format

LANSING - The Michigan Government TV Board of Directors decided to take MGTV off the air and provide programming online only. Programming will not be available for distribution through cable channels any longer. Programming will end on all channels across the state around January 11th. A signal will still be sent through the cable channels making this announcement on a bulletin board page. How long that page will be up is yet to be determined.

The MGTV board (made up of 4 Cable Provider Executives) decided that MGTV programming will be better served online only. www.mgtv.org is currently a landing page for information and will eventually have multiple streams available for people to be able to view which stream/programs they would like to choose to watch. MGTV has no idea when that will be available to the public.
