Tri-County Office on Aging received funding from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) under the Prevent Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse, Exploitation, and Neglect Today (PREVNT) Initiative. The primary purpose of this grant is awareness and prevention in Ingham County, with a focus on minority and LGBTQ communities. Those attending this event can expect a keynote speaker, panel discussion including representatives from vulnerable communities and elder abuse advocates followed by an audience discussion, resource tables and refreshments.
