Celebrate Meridian Festival and Food Truck Rally

Celebrate Independence Day "Meridian Style" at our annual Celebrate Meridian Festival and Food Truck Rally! Enjoy a day filled with amazing gourmet foods, live music, beer and wine tent, children's fun zone, pet adoption, car show cruise and of course fireworks! The event is free to and open to the public. Parking is also free. Activities and events include: • Food Truck Rally: 11 am - 10 pm at Central Park Drive • Car Show Cruise Noon – 5 pm at Central Park Drive, off Marsh Rd. • Kids Activities: Bouncers, face painting, dunk tank, water games from 11 am - 10 pm • Linc’s Little Reading Railroad: free for all ages, 11 am - 2 pm, sponsored by Capital Area District Libraries • Family Games: 1 pm - 3 pm • Business Booth Expo: 11 am - 5 pm • Arts and Crafts Fair: 11 am - 5 pm • Pet Adoption: Until all animals adopted at Town Hall Grass Area • Live Music: 3 pm- 10 pm. DJ music from 11 am - 3 pm • Eventide: 70's, 80's, 90's and today from 3 pm - 6 pm • Soulstice: MI Premier Dance Band from 7 pm - 10 pm • Beer and Wine Tent 11 am – 10 pm at Central Park Pavilion • Farmers' Market: 8 am - 2 pm at the Younkers north parking lot • Fireworks Finale over Central Park South 10:15 pm

Proceeds: Proceeds from all foundation events, donations, and sponsorship's will be invested in full and used to provide scholarships for students entering a police academy. The purpose of this foundation is to remember and carry-on Will's name & spirit and to help those who share his life-long dreams and goals of pursuing law enforcement.

Fall Festival of Song Attention female singers of all ages! Did you know that the Lansing area has a local chapter of Sweet Adeline’s International called Water Wonderland Chorus? We are offering a hands-on educational event, Tues Sept 24, from 7-9 pm and you are invited! Please come join us in the Lansing Catholic High School choir room and learn what barbershop singing is all about. We invite you to come learn about the unique sound of barbershop harmony and join in the fun. We hope to see you there!
